Seuk and Lisa will be memorialized together in a bittersweet reunion on Thursday December 5th, when Captain Kim will be laid to rest. His obituary reads "Seuk was more than just a pilot; he was a champion for others, a friend to all, and a deeply loved member of his family."Virginia Pilot Chris Moon took on the mission to bring Lisa's ashes to Seuk's family and gave them to his youngest son.An Update on the Other Dogs Injured in the Plane Crash:The 2 other dogs that were on board with Kim and Lisa when the plane crashed in Windham are on their journey to recover.Whiskey is a 4-month old Lab mix who broke 2 legs in the tragic accident. Pieper Veterinary in Middletown, Connecticut has been caring for Whiskey and just shared that the pup has successfully come through his surgeries to repair his two broken legs."We are thrilled to share that Whiskey, the 4-month-old Labrador mix who survived Sunday night’s tragic plane crash, has successfully come through his surgeries to repair his two broken legs. His brave little heart and incredible spirit have inspired everyone who has come into contact with him. While it will take time for his legs to fully heal and his recovery will be a long road for this little pup, his surgery team is very optimistic."Pluto is a 1.5 year old Yorkie Terrier mix and at the time of the crash was evaluated a Capital District Veterinary Hospital. According to reports Pluto suffered from pulmonary contusions and internal and external bruising. The moment Seuk Kim’s family receives precious cargo, Lisa’s ashes from Captain Chris Moon. She will be buried in their backyard along side their beloved miniature poodle. Leah Kim says, “Just having Lisa nearby brings us all comfort.” A funeral is planned for her father on Thursday. Seuk and Lisa died when his plane crashed.
