Service Dogs in Alabama, a non-profit organization, rescues and trains so many thrown away dogs to be service dogs for Military Veterans and children with disabilities.

Saving Forgotten Warriors is a non-profit organization advocating for the health, safety and well-being of our US Armed Force Veterans.

When everything works out just right, we get to work, through Pilots N Paws, with both of these amazing organizations!

Chopper is a trained service dog to a Veteran here, who recently had to go into a treatment center for PTSD.  Chopper was temporarily out of work and getting antsy.  Service Dogs in Alabama knows how important it is to keep the dogs busy, so they reached out to Saving Forgotten Warriors who has a Veteran on a waiting list for his own service dog.  It has worked out perfectly for everyone.

Chopper will be working away from home for a few months, then hopefully we will be the ones that get to fly him back to his owner!

3 separate, wonderful groups, pulling together to help one another.  In the spirit of Thanksgiving, this one has warmed my heart.
