Univision Network

On May 31, James Smith and I took Xiomara Gonzalez-Govea of “Animales 360 – Univision TV Network” and her cameraman Roberto on a flight from Miami to Marianna, Florida to pick up ten pups and transport them to Palm Beach. The shelters involved were Symantha Griffin of Precious Paws in Troy Alabama, who drove down to Marianna to meet us and receiving Ruth Douthitt of Second Chance Puppies.

Xiomara Gonzalez-Govea  was able to experience first hand what goes into putting a rescue flight together, and will use this footage in an upcoming TV feature, for the Spanish speaking audience, that will publicize the job Pilots N Paws is doing through its volunteer pilots and support shelters, vets, foster homes, sponsors and so many others that donate time and treasure to the cause of rescuing and relocating abandoned, abused or neglected dogs and cats, and finding them a forever home.

This project has been months in the making, weather had made us cancel two previous attempts and then there were scheduling conflicts. Xiomara requested pictures and background information from both shelters that she will incorporate in this piece.  With Spanish being the second most spoken language in the world, this feature will potentially reach a very large audience who otherwise would never know what we do.
