Rescue Flight for Ranger 65-lb Pitbull

Rescue Flight for Ranger 65-lb Pitbull

Michelle sent in the following story:  Ranger is an awesome dog who happens to be one of the most misunderstood breeds in existence.  Thankfully Pilots Leo Olsen, Greg Ladrey, Brett James, and John McGowan were willing to help get Ranger safely back into the hands of his devoted rescuer Kimie Scherer.

Ranger had lived in a home happily for a year with mom and teen son after being adopted from Kimie.  An accident occurred where Ranger and the teen both went for the ball at the same time, and the teen was accidentally bit.  Unfortunately the mother felt it was best for Ranger to return to the rescue that he was adopted from a year ago and find a new home.

Thankfully a brief reprieve from rain and wind allowed a clear day and pilots Leo, Greg, Brett and John split up the flight from Vegas to Sacramento into 3 legs.  Ranger is safe with his rescue Kimie’s Critters in Sacramento and he’s in need of a new home.

My hope is this story may get shared and that one special person may see Ranger and decide to give him a home.  Ranger is a neutered male pitbull, approximately, approx 65 lbs.  He has had extensive behavioral training, is great on leash, and loves all people.  Ranger can be dog selective as he was attacked once by a dog off leash.  Kimie is so committed she is offering more training to family that is committed to giving Ranger a home.  Please contact Kimie’s Kritters Pet Rescue in Sacramento, CA for more info.  More info here at Petfinder.
