Andrew Swint sent in the following story:  For my first flight with Pilots N Paws I came across a short flight I could do in a small plane. As I read through the forum, the flight was requested for as close to Christmas as possible. Being mid-November, I had no problem blocking off a day that far in advance and took on the flight.

The rescue representative Emily text me letting me know it would be a young puppy going to her new home with a family and put me in touch with the new owner, Sara. After texting for a short while, I learned this was a Christmas gift for her daughter.

I offered the idea of flying in as Santa Clause, and they were more than excited to make this delivery into a little event. When I landed I was greeted by about 15 of the nicest people I have met and two very excited children. The puppy was thrilled, the kids were excited, the family was grateful, and I was in awe of the moment I just got to share with this family. What an amazing experience.
