Pup Caleb was on the euthanasia list at the Columbus County, NC shelter when CrisisDogsNC swept him up into a foster home near Chapel Hill. A week later, he was on board Spencer Pascal’s Cirrus SR200, bound to his adoptive family in Asheville.

The Charlottesville-based, 22 year old pilot, who has been flying for five years, brought along as co-pilot his mom, Sherryl, “Ms. North America World.” Caleb is normally frightened of car trips, but he seemed quite at ease and enjoyed the view.
