When pilot Mary McEnroe saw a request to transport a young Jack Russell Terrier puppy from a shelter in Yuba City, CA to her home airport in San Jose, she jumped at the chance to help.

Since the puppy was only 11 lbs, that left plenty of room to invite two pilot friends along for the ride and some puppy cuddle time! Mary, Thao, and Henrique picked “Jack” up from the shelter next to the airport in Yuba City and gave him his freedom flight to a foster home while awaiting adoption. Jack was excited and full of puppy kisses when being held. He did well on the flight and is going to make a wonderful addition to someone’s family.
