Last Minute “Hiccup” and a PNP Pilot to the Rescue

 Mayberry4Paws asked CrisisDogsNC to find a pilot to take Rusty senior from Mount Airy, NC to Ithaca, NY where a foster awaited this little blind beagle. PNP Pilot Ken Menzie and his wife Cindy, on their 17th mission for CrisisDogsNC, flew the first leg to Hagerstown, MD  to meet pilot Matt Mitchell. On landing Ken learned that a last minute maintenance issue with Matt’s aircraft grounded him. Luckily PNP pilot Nick Thornsbury happened to be at HGR and overheard the “what now!”  Nick jumped in and flew Rusy on to Ithaca.
