Dog Identification

Post by Dogrescues16 » Thu Aug 25, 2016 9:42 pm

What kind of identification should I include with the rescue dogs? Do they need an ID tag or can I have a sheet included with all their info instead?

Great advice Carol and additionally, it is recommended that you use slip leads when walking these dogs and puppies. Several of our pilots have them that they keep with their planes and we will supply them to pilots if they ask by sending an email to [email protected].

These are the type of leads you normally see at the vets office. When the dog pulls, it will not slip off but please take the time to learn the correct way to put them on a dog. Dogs can also slip harnesses so beware of those as well. Common sense and thinking ahead go a long way in rescue transport :-)
