Pilots N Paws looking for Graphic Design/Website Maintenance

Post by Steve Foley » Thu Nov 12, 2009 8:56 pm

Pilots N Paws is looking to overhaul the website. We are leaning towards Joomla. Anyone willing to help out, or convince us that we should go in another direction, please email me, or reply to this post.

Thanks,

- Steve

Steve,

I would be happy to help out. I don't have any experience with the software you are using but I am a programmer and I have some free time and I am willing to learn.

Let me know if I can help. I can be reached at the below email address.

Hi Kemper,

Since I posted that, we started thinking about Dreamweaver and/or Wordpress. I don't know much about either. I'm a programmer myself.

We have two distinct needs. One for the website in general, and the other for modifications for the forum.

The forum is all Php, and is open source (PhpBB). We're a few versions back. I'm looking to get to the latest version before making any more mods.

I'm pretty buried right now, but I expect to hit this project hard starting 12/15.

What kind of programming do you do?

Hi Steve,

I work with VB6, SQL and some VB.NET, I was looking into Dreamweaver since it seems like a good skill to have and a few other rescues have mentioned needing help with it.
