deleting personal emails

I may be missing it but I have looked everywhere. I have emailed some pilots personally and I now I cannot figure out how to delete sent and recieved emails that I do not need to keep. And I see where it tells you what percentage of your mailbox has been used. How do I delete certain emails

If you're talking about the private messages on this message board

1) open your INBOX
2) checkmark the boxes to the right of the messages you wish to delete
3) at the bottom toggle the selector to DELETE MARKED
4) click GO
