Cherokee 140 Flyers?

Post by Tennokee » Sat Oct 13, 2018 8:27 pm

I have my first PAW flight possibly next week. I fly a Cherokee 140 and would like to hear from any of you out there who do the same. Interested in how your flights have gone with the dog tethered in the back seats. I have no luggage compartment.

Thanks

I fly a Cherokee 140 as well. Any answers for Dennis? Or - Dennis - how did it go? I'm also on the verge of scheduling my first.

It doesn't look like you guys got an answer here, but did you figure something out? I'd like to know for the same model and same reasons.

I have done 2 flights in the past 2 months. Both had pups in crates. No adult dogs yet. I am not sure to tether an adult except to use a short leash and connect to the seat belts in the back.

You're on the right track. I tether with a short leash to the back seats. They usually just go to sleep anyway. If I have to use a crate, I just remove the back seat/s depending on the size of the crate. I use eye bolts inserted in the seat attachment hole to lash the crate down.
