Will you transport cats? Or do you only do dogs?

We have a shelter in Mass that is willing to take a 35+ cats from us on a frequent basis. We are located in the Melbourne, FL area. Is this something that pilots n paws can assist with? A 24+ hour drive is difficult on the cats.

There have been cats transported before. It's up to each pilot what passengers they'll fly.
The biggest problem with transport from FL to MA is the distance. Most pilots only fly 200-300 miles so you would need multiple pilots and most likely an overnight foster.

Thank you for the reply!
We are driving them for this first run which will be on Friday. It will take over 24 hours and it is hard on the cats and the drivers. We would like to make this run every 6 weeks or even monthly if we can get assistance. It would save the lives of many cats in Florida.

Then the next step for you is to post a request on the ride board. Go here for answers to many questions you may have https://pilotsnpaws.org/forum/faq.php?mode=rescue#f0r0

Good luck
