Question about Shar Pei

Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone might know the answer to my question: I'm looking at flying in my Piper Arrow (non-pressurized) with a Shar Pei. This is one of the breeds that most airlines do not allow in cargo due to their shortened snouts. I'm wondering whether there would be any specific concerns about flying with one GA — with all of the usual precautions you'd take with any dog in a small plane.

Has anyone got experience with traveling with dogs like this (incl. Pugs, Shih-tzu, Bulldogs, etc)?
