NC to Vermont

I am trying to set up a transport for rescue cats from NC to Vermont. My First attempt and need help/have ?'s After I have posted in Transport request, do I wait for pilots to volunteer or am I supposed to research pilots by location and email individual pilots to see if they can help. I am looking at likely needed 3 pilots to assist due to the long distance for this transport. Do the pilots coordinate the flight plan/airport transfers among themselves?
