Gathering Vital Information to Request Transport Assistance
Re: Gathering Vital Information to Request Transport Assistance
Hello (I'm a first-timer)!
Firstly, thank you so much for your information and offer to assist people who are trying to arrange transport of a rescue!! I for one am so appreciative as this is my very first attempt at arranging transport and I honestly didn't know how to get this going! I'm located in Courtice, Ontario Canada. I wasn't sure how to post a request and also didn't want to loose credibility with the Pilots, so I prepared a kind of Flight path (but don't know if this is necessary, but I'm just trying to be pro-active) - or if it works for the pilots; however, please see below. So believe me when I say thank you so much for your offer to assist!!!!
I am currently completing the "Essential Information" form and just have a question. Although I am the rescuer, a friend of mine is willing to cross the boarder to pick up our bundle of love. This being said, do I complete the "Receiving" as such (flight path is below the Essential Information)?

Re: Gathering Vital Information to Request Transport Assistance
Jake needs to go home to Larry!
From Eastern North Carolina to Riverside California. A few months ago an old friend of mine lost his beloved German Shepherd Fylo. As a dog rescuer we do not come across purebreds very often until a couple of days ago we were messaged that Jake, a purebred GSD was needing a new home ASAP. I believe this was fate and blessing for Larry and Jake. PLEASE HELP JAKE GET HOME!Jake is a one year old sweetheart! He did fine freeroaming in the back of the car and is crate trained.

Re: Gathering Vital Information to Request Transport Assistance
I sent in a request for a German Shepherd adult rescue. I know this may be a challenge as it's going from NC to CA but all help is needed. We took Jake into our rescue last night and trying to pull help to get him on the way. Maybe even a portion than could find rescue volunteers the rest? I did send you an email with the form information.

Re: Gathering Vital Information to Request Transport Assistance
Tyra - you need to post this in the ride request forum - https://pilotsnpaws.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=5
And yes, it is a very long transport. I would recommend finding fosters along the way and breaking it into multiple trips. NC to CA is simply not possible in a single request.
