Parvo Puppies

Post by madrescueleah » Sat May 20, 2023 11:04 am

Hey there! I'm a volunteer for MAD Rescue, thanks for all y'all do!

I found a bulletin about parvo virus for information on it in general on this forum. Though I could not tell definitively if it meant y'all do not fly pups infected with parvo or if you will? I'm asking for clarification as MAD Rescue is intaking 2 parvo puppies of about 5-6wks old that will need help getting from New Mexico to Las Vegas, NV

Thanks again,
Leah

It'd be up to the individual pilot to decide, assuming the other requirements are met - ie, if NV requires a health certificate to bring an animal into the state a vet would need to sign off it it.

I would post it and be very clear the animal's health situation.

Thanks for the reply, Mike! We ended finding alternative transport for this pup but good to know for the future for sure. Thanks again, cheers!
