I've spoken with Hillel and emailed and texted Elli. When I hear back from Elli @MrBones&Co I can confirm the time to pick up the dogs, then we can touch base later in the week, but it sounds like we got a solid plan working.

Any idea how big it is and what type of construction?
(E.g., metal cage, plastic clamshell...)

It matters because of considerations of getting it in/out of the plane(s).
If it's too big, it may need to be collapsed or disassembled to get it in/out of the plane, which means we'll need a way to contain the pups for a few minutes between transfers.

Thx!

I do not need a crate , if it could be collapsed it would be better for me I will have someone in the back of my plane

I once had a huskie puppy and mom on board. Shortsightedly, I didn't have either of them in a crate or tethered to a seat belt. I did have a passenger.
On SHORT SHORT final, 100-200ft and about 200 yards from the numbers the puppy managed to crawl UNDER my seat and came out at my feet by the pedals. Meanwhile, my passenger was useless and fixated on looking outside.

I can't imagine having four puppies loose in the back during critical phases of flight.

Good morning!
For safety, it is better the puppies crated - there are about 40 lbs. of puppies all in and they are fearful and shy. It's fine to take them out one or two at a time to hang out with during the flight but they will likley be soiled at some point given their age and so to avoid poop and pee in your plane and, puppies being scared and hiding and traumatizing themselves, the crate is important! :-)

The crate is not collapsible - it will be a hard sided travel crate. I am awaiting measurements but if any of the planes are smaller, we can send two small travel crates instead of one medium one. Will secure measurements today and send ASAP.

Thank you all!
Elli
