Date ready for transport: as of Sunday.
Additional info/situation: dogs were owned by a backyard breeder. black petite pitties. All very sweet. Were kept indoors. Owner evicted. One private rescuer offered to hold in her kennels until foster homes in Maryland will open up, as shelters are full and black pitties will possibly not find their way out.
How well does animal travel: unknown.. but supposedly sweet dogs. Transport can carry less dogs if too many at one time, to get some to Warren county, NC rescuer. Trying to get mom plus 6 - 6 week old puppies out if possible.

I can do this flight on Sunday. How big are the mom and dad? Will they travel in one crate together or in a crate with some of the puppies? How big are the puppies, and how many can be put in each crate? The answers to these questions will determine whether I can take the whole group in one flight or not. Let me know and we can finalize a plan.

Rolf - text message sent. Mom is emaciated.. 30 lbs range... puppies are about 6 lbs each.. mom should either ride tethered or in another medium sized crate. 6 pups can be in one crate. male is 65 lbs... there is another 40 lbs male from the same eviction situation .. if another adult can fly.
