Due to the strong possibility of a TFR in ILG from the afternoon of the 22nd till the morning of the 25th, once landing in ILG you are not taking off til the TFR ends Monday morning. New Garden (N57) has the same problem with the TFR. Alternate airports in the ILG area will have TFR requirements to operate into and of their locations. Pay attentions to ILG NOTAMS if you volunteer to do this trip during the weekend.

I am available on Monday the 25th to fly the leg into ILG say from the Richmond Va area.

Thank you for that info. Is there another airport that you could recommend on the weekend near New Castle, DE?

The closest airport outside the TFR that would not be ladened with traffic is 33N, Delaware Airpart about 30 miles South of ILG and into the Dover De area. The other airport which has a cutout from the TFR is 0W3, Harford County which is also about 30 miles SW of ILG down I-95, however off of 95 on the back roads to the airport, you're looking at about an hour travel time each way. Anything else out side the TFR, due to traffic is an hour or more away, into NJ, NE of Philadelphia and out to Allentown and Lancaster PA.

Other then ILG and N57, the TFR is not a problem flying into or out of, I do it all the time out of Clairmont(Elkton MD), you just have to know what is expected and follow requirements. They are having to deal with many pilots on the weekend flying into the TFR because they were not aware it was active, unaware of their location in relation to the TFR and the pilot will get a visit from Federal Law enforcement upon landing.
