Mapping problem

Post by karonstewart » Tue Jul 26, 2016 9:14 am

Hi,
I have a flight from New Orleans to Deltona, Fla and on the "map this flight" it shows that it is mostly over water! I know that the pilots won't fly over the Gulf like this. So the question is...are not the pilots along the route (ex: Mobile, Tallahassee, Pensacola, etc) notified there is a flight in their vicinity? This is the third try to get this dog home and there has been very little response, none along the ground route!

Can this be fixed? I believe that prior to the update, the route DID go over land.

Please see my reply to the other thread you posted in the rescues forum:

The route has never 'respected' water or land, always a straight line.
