I have an idea for a new catagory in the forum. "Looking for a dog" or something to that effect. I am asked by people all the time to get them a specific type dog to adopt. I'd like to have a place where I and others could post these requests and the shelters could browse them looking to match people to their dogs they are trying to move.

Thank you for the suggestion. We do get emails now and again asking for specific breeds to adopt. We refer everyone to their local rescues and shelters because we are not in the adoption business. We are just here to help the groups who are. However, members are welcome to post occasional "dog wanted" requests in the general forums such as General Discussions or Rescue Talk.
