Morgan of Pink Heart Rescue, an organization that helps dogs who have been born blind, deaf or both due to inheriting the double merle gene as a result of irresponsible breeding, reached out to Pilots n Paws to arrange a flight for Emmilou. Pink Heart Rescue is dedicated to helping special-needs dogs learn to navigate their world without their extra senses, showing the world these differently-abled dogs are more than capable of greatness, supporting rescues and shelters by placing these dogs in foster homes, and educating breeders.
