David Beattie flew the this mission from Denver to Morrilton, Arkansas with his copilot, fellow dog lover and future airline pilot, Kevin Bransfield. The original destination was Conway but its airport was closed because of flooding. He brought back 8 dogs five of whom were beagles.

The mission was arranged by Donna Easley at the Arkansas end. The rescuing organizations in Denver were Summit Dog Rescue, Warm Hearts Humane Society, Colorado Beagle Rescue and Beagle Base Camp. Coordinating at the Denver end was Rachelle Hurd. Thanks to all the rescuers and fosters who made the trip possible!
