Luke Moore freedom flights
First and foremost. I absolutely LOVE what your organization is about. Several years ago I rescued my dog from a shelter about twelve hours away and initially thought about how I could fly up to get him. That’s how I found out about PNP! So I immediately signed up. I’ve only been flying missions since the beginning of this summer though because of my work schedule.
About my trips. So far I’ve flown (solo and with my friend Chuck – both huge dog lovers) over ten freedom flights to include over 30 dogs since the beginning of Summer 2020. Most of our trips have been from Farmington, NM to various locations in Western Colorado to include Delta, Grand Junction, and Rifle. Hannah with Turquoise Paw has been coordinating all of the trips. The dogs are coming from the reservation down there near Farmington and are being saved from their all kill shelter. It’s been such an incredible experience. So much that the EAA Chapter (Experimental Aircraft Association) that I’m a member of has asked me to speak about it at our next meeting in hopes to get even more people involved as we have lots of avid flyers!
I can not reiterate how much I love PNP and what you guys are about. It has been truly incredible to fly these types of missions and I look forward to many, many more.
